Today I was hurrying to my car in Las Canteras when I came across a disabled girl in a wheelchair, who could hardly speak or move any parts of her body... And she asked me to go with her and help her open the front door to her house in a block of flats. So I had to go back on my steps and go behind her speedy chair...For a moment I had thousands of thoughts. The strangest being that it could be a trap to kidnap me!?
After I followed all her instructions she managed to go to the lift and... I left with the feeling I had done something good- again- for someone who really needs it; as I've helped those of my family who have had to be in hospital and.......
But this was like a kind of message for my day- today-, I can't explain.. And then a special acquaintance of mine sends me a video via e-mail about a man with no arms no legs, being able to manage and do lots of things in front of an audience of weeping teenagers. And so It makes me wonder again... why should I complain? Why should any of us?
